Q&A:

Good Morning, I would like to know more about the bil handle cup holders please. Are they useful to hold foam cups in for the use of hot drinks. Detergent safe as there is no dish washer available on site.

Answer:

From our understanding, some of the disposable cups can fit in the cup holder. However, the material of the disposable cup especially with hot water is durable and flexible enough is the key point to decide whether the disposable cup is suitable to be used with the cup holder. When the plastic/foam disposable cup filled with hot water (also depending on the temperature of the hot water), the disposable cup becomes softer and easier to crack. The diameter of the cup holder should be smaller than the cup's, so the cup holder can hold the cup firmly. Therefore, certain pressure will be placed on the cup surface when putting the disposable cup into the cup holder. Therefore, if disposable cup needs to be used with the cup holder, carers should ensure  the material of the disposable cup is durable enough. High temperature hot water should be avoid, cold water or low temperature warm water is recommended.

Detergent can be used to clean the cup holder.

The diameter of the cup holder should be smaller than the disposable cup's diameter to secure the cup. The material of disposable cup must be durable enough with certain temperature of liquid and sustainable of the pressure from the cup holder. High temperature hot water should be avoid; cold water or low temperature warm water is recommended.
